Accessible Design for The Highbury Centre

Enhancing accessibility at The Highbury Centre, a Christian guest house in the heart of London, this project introduces two inclusive entry solutions—a stepped entrance with a lift and a fully integrated ramp. The lift option provides a sleek, modern solution for seamless entry, ensuring convenience for wheelchair users and those with mobility challenges.

The alternative ramp design incorporates a practical route to the main entrance. Both options prioritise user-friendly navigation while complementing the surrounding landscape. This initiative aligns with the centre’s commitment to inclusivity, ensuring a comfortable access for all visitors.
